Winter Scramble League (age 8-12) 2027

Service Description

Though this junior league is open to junior golfers of different skill level, I ask that all participants have on-course experience and be capable of hitting a ball at least 75 yards with some level of consistency. It makes for a more fun experience for all if both players can contribute to the success of the scramble pairing and can be disheartening and frustrating to for young players to play in a team format in which they feel they can not contribute. That said, if your junior golfer is ready for high school level golf, this is not the league for them, either. You should, instead, be looking at the competitive league (for high school level golfers). This is not a highly competitive league but a way for more beginner junior golfers to have some fun swinging a club while the area courses are still closed. League play format will be a follows: 2-Person teams will be created each day (based on who is registered for a tee time). Team assignments will be randomly assigned. Each golfer and partner will play a 3-hole match against the other 2-some. Each golfer who wins a match will be awarded a point for the win. After each 3-hole match the teams will be reassigned (Player A and B on a team for the first match against C and D. The next match will be player A and C vs B and D, etc.). The goal will be to get two (3-hole) matches completed each tee time (a total of 6 holes played each tee time). Over the 10 week season it is possible for a player to accumulate up to 20 points. Tee Times will be afternoon/evening Monday through Saturday and will be available for sign up here on the website under the service title "scramble league - tee times". It is YOUR responsibility to sign up for days/times that work for you on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. There is a $150 up front league fee for each golfer plus a $10 "green fee" for each round they choose to play (a max of $250 spent if playing all 10 weeks). You are not obligated to play each week... but the overall points leader at the end of our 10 week season will receive a Prestwick GC gift card!
