Winter Competitive League 2026-27

Service Description

Golf DOESN'T stop once the snow flies! Though this junior league is open to junior golfers of different skill levels, I ask that anyone joining be able to shoot 46 or better on 9 holes with some consistency - many participants are already on high school teams. Golfers need to be between 13-18 years old to participate. Golfers will receive a handicap after 2 rounds (applied retroactively) to make the scoring fair for all who play. Each week juniors will have the opportunity to play 9 holes in a foursome format (similar to real golf) on course designated for that particular week. Handicaps will be assigned and monitored throughout the season to ensure a fair game. In order to be eligible for the prize as season's end, each junior golfer will be expected to play in 8 of the 12 weeks. Tee Times will be afternoon/evening Tuesday through Saturday and will be available for sign up here on the website three weeks in advance. You may choose different tee times each week to work around your schedule. At the end of the season, 1st place will receive a $200 Prestwick Gift Card, 2nd place will receive a $100 gift card, and 3rd place will receive a $50 gift card. Gift cards can be redeemed for merchandise, golf, etc. Some of the courses on rotation for this season: -Pebble Beach -Pine Valley -Bandon Dunes -Pacific Dunes -Bethpage Black -Dismal River -Estancia -Whistling Straights -Tobacco Road -Blue Monster/Doral -Augusta National -Pinehurst No. 2 - Prestwick Golf Club and MORE!!!! Starting the week of November 3rd and concluding February 28th (weeks off for Thanksgiving and Christmas). 9 holes will take about an hour in the simulator setting for a foursome. Popcorn and (black) coffee are always available and free while golfing (that's just my thing)! There is a $150 up front league fee for facility and end of season prizes as well as a "green fee" of $10 per round - register for tee times separately. THIS registration fee may show a "class date" of 12am (midnight) on Christmas. Please ignore - there is no day/time associated with the league fee (don't show up at that day/time). Tee times are made separately for whatever days/times works for you each week. THIS LEAGUE WILL FILL so don't wait to register - you might miss out! I'm capping this year at 40 participants. Director of Instruction and East Ridge coach, John Potter, will be present during all rounds played to assist players with course management, rules questions, and tech issues that may arise.
