Service Description

Session 1 Dates: 6/11/2024 through 7/18/2024 (no meeting on 7/4 though listed) Session 2 Dates: 7/23/2024 through 8/29/2024 Are you a junior golfer (Ages 13-18) and already playing a competitive spring or summer schedule? Maybe you're playing on the Minny Tour (sota series, junior tour, or players tour)? Maybe you're a competitive golfer on your high school team, playing AJGA events, or variety of Junior PGA, USGA, or Amateur tournaments? Whatever your competitive schedule, if you are looking to take your game to the next competitive level, this is the place for you. Golf lessons are a great way to develop sound technique - if you find a great swing coach. Sound technique can make your swing LOOK great, and there's no doubt that it's much easier to score well with sound technique, but we all know there is a lot more to success in competitive golf than how your swing looks. Private lessons don't provide you head-to-head competition, unique on-course skill acquisition, or pressure situations. THESE key aspects are what help competitive golfers reach the next level. Each participant in the junior prep program will have unlimited access to Prestwick Golf Club's practice facilities (even outside our scheduled meeting times). We will use a variety of methods and technologies with each player (FocusBand, HackMotion, Swing Catalyst, OnForm, Boditrak, and more) to provide objective data in order to establish baselines and track improvement. Each participant will receive a "video locker" and unlimited access to their swing video library as well as remote coaching from within the app. Each participant will be given technical improvements to work on (accompanied by swing videos and coaching), but we will spend most of our time on skill acquisition and execution (short game and full swing), fitness, course management, mental acuity and management of emotions, tournament preparation, and more. Participants will be expected to attend Tuesday and Thursday meetings as often as possible (noon to 1:30pm). This is time that John has set aside in his schedule to be available to all participants for coaching. However, participants will be provided with driving range key fobs (with a $50 value) that allow them access to the facility at any time. Each junior prep participant will also receive a junior season pass - allowing them to play for just $10! For more information, please contact John Potter directly.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made prior to 24 hours before your scheduled private lesson time to receive a full refund. Group instruction or program registrations must be cancelled 7 days prior to start date for a full refund. No-show lessons will be charged a full lesson rate.
