Winter Junior League (League Fee)

Service Description

Advances in technology have made golf accessible year round, even here in Minnesota! Using the industry's top technology, MNTP Golf is hosting a junior golf league right here at Prestwick. John Potter will be present during all rounds played to assist players with understanding course management, swing questions, short game tips, and more! Though this junior league is open to junior golfers of different skill level, I ask that anyone joining be able to shoot 60 or better on 9 holes. Golfers will receive a handicap after 2 rounds (applied retroactively) to make the scoring fair for all who play. Each week juniors will have the opportunity to play 9 holes in a foursome format (similar to real golf) on course designated for that particular week. Handicaps will be assigned and monitored throughout the season to ensure a fair game. In order to be eligible for the prize as season's end, each junior golfer will be expected to play in 8 of the 12 weeks. Tee Times will be afternoon/evening Tuesday through Saturday and will be available for sign up here on the website. Scores and standings will be posted regularly so juniors can see where they stand in the points race. At the end of the season, 1st place will receive a brand new Cleveland HB Soft Milled putter (MyGolfSpy's Best performing putter of 2023), 2nd place will win a Cleveland RTX6 wedge (loft of their choice), 3rd place will win 2 dozen Z Star golf balls and a Srixon (tour only) hat, 4th place will win 1 dozen Z star golf balls, 5th place will win a limited edition MNTP Golf hat, and last place will win a free (30 minute) golf lesson with John Potter. Some of the courses on rotation for this season: -Pebble Beach -Pine Valley -Bandon Dunes -Pacific Dunes -Mattaponi Springs -Whispering Pines -Cypress Point -Estancia -Blue Monster/Doral -Bay Hill -Augusta National -Kiawah -Pinehurst No. 2 and MORE!!!! Starting the week of October 29th - November 4th and concluding the week of January 28th - February 3rd (weeks off for Thanksgiving and Christmas). 9 holes will take about an hour in the simulator setting for a foursome. Popcorn and (black) coffee are always available and free while golfing (that's just my thing)! There is a $100 up front league fee for facility and end of season prizes as well as a "green fee" of $15 per round. This registration fee may show a "class date" of 6am on Christmas Day. Please ignore - there is no day/time associated with the league fee. Tee times are made separately.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made prior to 24 hours before your scheduled private lesson time to receive a full refund. Group instruction or program registrations must be cancelled 7 days prior to start date for a full refund. No-show lessons will be charged a full lesson rate.
